November may very well be my favorite month of the year for a few reasons. I really get an adrenaline jolt from the November landscape here in our part of the country. We had snow a couple days ago, rain last night for the trick or treaters and beautiful sun today. By the end of the month, it will look like winter and I can find a years worth of painting material in the designs inherent in muted colors and newly uncovered shapes.
And, then there is Thanksgiving. Family and friends gathering at our place in the mountains for a low pressure celebration of all of our blessings. And, then there are the turkeys; probably not as excited as I am. Here is a turkey that I painted last month preparing for our coming show season.
