We had the luck of stumbling across a showcase the first night we rolled into town at Ernest Tubb Record Shop. The shop, founded by the legendary "Texas Troubador" is a must see while in Nashville. We had just stopped in to browse around when Petunia noticed some chairs set up in the back of store as it looked like a performance was about to take place. We knew we hit the mother lode when we found out that they were setting up for a performance by the Steep Canyon Rangers, Pine Mountain Railroad and Dailey & Vincent. What a great evening it turned out to be. Up and comers Broken Wire and Rhonda Vincent's daughters Tensel and Sally warmed us up. The Steep Canyon Rangers and Pine Mountain Railroad did not disappoint and I was blown away as most everyone at IBMA by Dailey & Vincent's late night performance.
